The UNB coaching staff, lead by its Secretary-General Alan Walls, has experience organizing and directing basketball camps and clinics throughout the world. We have done camps and clinics of all levels on all five continents.
From 2004 to 2015 Walls ran the College Exposure Camps Hawaii, one of the top basketball camps in the US, and successfully placed over 100 players in US colleges and universities.
From 2005 to 2011 Walls organized and ran the grassroots youth development camps for the Turkish Basketball Federation conducting over 20 summer camps and clinics throughout the country. Each camp had 175 to 200 players and 20 to 30 coaches.
In 2010, FIBA and the TBF tasked Walls with being the Basketball Program Director and Head Coach at the FIBA World Cup Children of the World Camp that took place in Istanbul during the men's World Cup. 270 campers aged 13-14 years old and 150 coaches from 115 countries, speaking 70 different languages, participated in the week-long camp.
Walls has 25 years of experience on the youth, high school, NCAA, professional and national team levels in 15 countries. Walls has worked with the national federations of Turkey, Romania, Palestine, Mongolia and El Salvador as well as coached or conducted camps and clinics throughout the United States – including his native Hawaii – Mexico, Argentina, China, Hong Kong, Kenya and Israel.
